SEEK Asia approached us to optimise their five most-visited landing pages across four countries (JobStreet Singapore, JobStreet Malaysia, JobStreet Philippines, and jobsDB Hong Kong), and promote their job portal brands without providing any information apart from editorial guidelines. SEEK Asia needed a way to help users navigate to other relevant pages.
After three days of in-depth research and planning, I took the initiative to develop a wireframe and writing template, liaise with clients, implement a solid content creation process, create a skeleton draft, and write optimised web content.
I was assigned to a role as content writer. Managed to create a wireframe and writing template to help streamline the entire process, maintain content consistency, and save time.
Communicated with clients throughout the project through emails, face-to-face meetings, and phone calls.
Adopted the Agile project management approach by creating a Trello board to enable the team to effectively organise and prioritise their projects.
Proposed to clients a detailed outline in a straightforward and understandable manner. Stayed focused and specific in the rough draft.
Created engaging web copy using important SEO keywords throughout content and in suggested headers. Added links in body copy to help users easily navigate website.
Produced content that is aligned with their core brand tone of voice through fulfilling SEEK's editorial guidelines. Localised content across all four countries.
Clients felt more comfortable giving feedback on content. I managed to steer clear from writing content based on assumptions and spend less time up front trying to perfect these pieces of work.
By having a solid content creation process, every person on my team knew: the goals they're working towards, tasks they needed to complete, time allocated for them, any due dates, other team members they rely on, and where each piece of content sits.
Successfully developed five value-driven, unique content that are optimised and localised for each country to raise their online reputation.
Target keywords appeared sufficiently and prominently on these domains: Homepage, Employer Branding Services, SME, Job Ads, and Talent Search, in order for Google Crawlers to recognise and provide relevant web pages to a user's search query.
