Clearly faced the challenge of low organic traffic to its e-commerce platform. The company struggled with SEO rankings, hindering its ability to reach a broader audience and compete effectively in the online eyewear market. High volumes of customer support calls were also placing a strain on resources, indicating a need to proactively address customer queries and concerns through alternative means.
My role involved driving three blog sites for Clearly in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, and crafting compelling and informative blogs to address the identified challenges. The process included:
Leveraged strategically chosen keywords into blog content to enhance SEO performance and increase organic search traffic.
Created educational content that proactively addressed common customer queries, reducing the frequency of customer support calls and enhancing the overall customer experience.
Produced engaging and shareable content for marketing campaign integration to maximize reach and engagement.
Prioritized top-performing blogs and implemented SEO on-site optimization techniques to improve its visibility, engagement, and effectiveness.
The intended outcomes for this task was to increase organic website traffic, improve SEO rankings, and reduce customer support calls through blogs, positioning Clearly more competitively in the e-commerce eyewear market. Blogs performed well and supported many different teams across the organization. I enjoyed creating blogs that helped achieve objectives and drive success for Clearly.
